TRAINING
A Dublin-born actor, Kate Gallagher studied Screen Acting at Bow Street Academy in Dublin in 2017. Since then, she’s taken part in various workshops with Louise Kiely Casting and Director Kevin O’Farrell, while starring in feature films, shorts and other collaborative projects.
RECENTLY COMPLETED WORK
Most recently, Kate starred as Tanya in the upcoming independent feature film Dredges, directed by Patrick McKnight, which is due for release in early 2023. She also played a supporting role as Lisa in the horror/thriller Manhunt, which is available on YouTube, and directed by Ian Adams.
Kate also appears in Sean OB's music video, Single Young Man, and also stars in the short film Oscar, directed by Ger Kellett, which was released in the IFI in May 2020.
ONGOING WORK
Kate has just finished filming a starring role as Roisin Connolly in Baz David’s contemporary private detective feature film, Rotten Sweetness, which is currently in post production. She has also just finished filming the starring role of Emma Cunningham in a psychological horror/thriller feature film Pooka, which will be released in mid 2023.
